Chanel 2.55 (named after its founding month & year February, 1955) WAS and STILL an icon bag.

Now, fast forward 50 years later..... Chanel 2.55 re-issue still has everything that the original was------beautifully crafted with quilted leather and chain straps, perfectly shaped for a graceful and timeless look.

Remember, every authentic Chanel handbag never has black lining material inside, as the founder Coco Chanel said she found it hard to find her lipstick inside a handbag with a lining.

One more thing, according to Bagsnob, anyone who thinks having a Double C's on a Chanel bag automatically qualifies it as a classic.

Chanel 2.55, boring as it may be to some, is considered as CLASSIC in the truest sense.
